We operate a personnel system in which roles and performance are reflected in compensation and treatment with the aim of enhancing employees’ motivation to take on challenges and improving their sense of contribution. For achievements that cannot be fully evaluated through personnel evaluations, we have established systems to fairly evaluate each employee who has taken on a challenge, including awards for outstanding employees, an internal proposal system, and intellectual property-related rewards.
In order to ensure that employees are motivated to take on challenges and contribute, and that they can maximize their individual capabilities, we have established a fair and impartial evaluation system. Every six months, goals are set and performance is evaluated against these goals. Human resource development is undertaken each time the employee and evaluator meet, helping them build up their career and more.
We recognize and award monetary prizes to employees who have achieved outstanding performance through their work, made significant achievements that exceed the standards of the personnel evaluations, or have performed acts (such as disaster prevention and recovery, social contributions, and good deeds) that enhance the company’s credibility or serve as a model for employees, whether inside or outside the company’s operations.

We seek to realize a rewarding workplace by soliciting bright ideas and opinions from employees on a wide range of issues, including cost reduction, operational improvement, health and safety, and the enhancement of environmental and social values.
Submitted ideas and opinions are discussed by a proposal review committee consisting of members appointed from among employees, and prizes are awarded according to the evaluation ranking.
